rain, predictions, and cats

First, we start with the cats. Look at that originality, going opposite from the title! It's the little things in life that have to keep you entertained.

Kaelyn spoke her first sentence yesterday. "Where's Sera Momma?"

Lori is always asking Kaelyn where Sera is, and she put it all together. She is starting to pronounce her words more clearly with "buh-bye" and "shoe" being her favorites. It's pretty cool to hear her speak. The only bad part is, soon I won't be able to put words in her mouth =(.

Now to throw you for a loop, let's go to rain. Here I am, I have my mlb.com gameday (web version of a baseball game) up, I have my Sports 620 KTAR streaming, I have the azsnakepit.com game day thread up, and the Diamondbacks game is postponed. Rain! Boooooo! Other games are already being officially canceled, we'll see if this one meets with the same demise. To quote a chat room I just logged in to check the status of games "OPENING DAY! . ..postponed until tomorrow (rain)"

Sooo, in lieu of me wasting time listening to this game, I give you my 2008 Baseball predictions.;

AL West; Angels

AL Central; Tigers

AL East; Red Sox

AL Wildcard; Indians

NL West: Dodgers

NL Central; Cubs

NL East; Mets

NL Wildcard; Diamondbacks

ALDS; Angels over Indians and Red Sox over Tigers

NLDS; Dodgers over Cubs and Diamondbacks over Mets

ALCS; Angels over Red Sox

NLCS; Diamondbacks over Dodgers

World Series; Angels over Diamondbacks in 6

Someone remind me to see how badly I did come November =)

not this year

The Tigers still have no bullpen. Maybe if they buy one after the All Star break or someone steps up. They reek of Yankees from years gone where they were good, but not good enough. It would be great to see them do well, but I don't see it.

Not too bad so far. I'll have to post an update come all star time and see how bad I am by then.
