kaelyn, milk, and google

First, I'm catching up on putting pictures online, so here you've got a couple new pages of Kaelyn pictures;

Now. I am on a big organizing kick lately. I've fixed some of my work problems through some tabbed text files (see EditPad Lite).

However, for home I have a problem where I'm not always in front of the exact same device to make notes on. So I've switched to Google Calendar, which will sync to my work Outlook (which will sync to my new cell phone - T-Mobile Dash), and to Don't Forget the Milk for task management. I've also finally followed Eddie and moved my RSS feeds to Google Reader. That leaves me with a Google Homepage which contains everything I need to stay on top of the news and what I need to be doing. Also, all of this (minus the tasks) will sync to my new phone so I'll have it in my pocket as well as any computer. The Forget the Milk site also sets up an email alias I can send tasks too, so even with the phone I can just compose quick emails to it to add tasks, they also have a mobile phone friendly interface to view the tasks in a web browser.

I hope all combined this will help me stay a bit more organized. Now Google just needs a task interface that can sync to Outlook and I'll be completely set.
