Happy Valentine's Day!
I've been playing with the photo services more. Sometimes I don't have time to properly sort through all the photos from a bunch we took, put titles on them, and upload them to the website. That means I create a "temp" directory and upload them all so Lori can e-mail them to people, etc.. Well, this time I picked a few and uploaded them to Picasa Web Albums. Lori had me embed the slideshow in to her blog if you want to take a look;

They're all of Kaelyn in her Valentine's dress from a couple weeks ago.
Anyways, I played with Flickr more after Eddie was nice enough to point out in the comments that Engadget conveniently posted an iPhoto Plugin that was free the day after I bitched about there not being one. I used FFXporter a couple times, and other than crashing iPhoto the first time it has done the job. The Picasa plugin is still better (and supported!), but you can't beat that Flickr web interface.. I'm thinking I'll create a set of just a few of the best photos on Flickr..
pictures and homepages
I uploaded another set of pictures, this time from way back in 2005. I went to visit Ann and Tim out in Davis and never ended up putting the pictures on-line.
However, this time there is a twist! I put it on both my gallery at;

AND, on Picasa Web Albums (Google) at;

So, all three of you that read this blog these days, which do you like better?
I would have put them on Flickr and Windows Live photos, but neither has a supported iPhoto plugin that I can find.. That's too bad, because I like Flickr better than Picasa.
I also updated the theme on gallery to something that looks similar, but functions a bit differently, let me know what you think.
And lastly, I've switched from iGoogle to netvibes. I'm liking it so far.. The only reason I didn't use it to begin with was its inability to work with most Google tools. They've fixed that since then, and all the UI goodness is still there. What are you using for a homepage? about:blank was mine for about 8 years, I figured it was time to move on.
