spammers and apple
Holy crap, the spammers are relentless.
First I started getting comment spam on my blog. That was easily remedied with a plugin that requires you to type in the graphical representation of a text string.
Next, they started doing it to Lori's blog. That was solved with the same solution.
More recently, they exploited the fact that I left the ability for anyone to create their own blog to create a blog with no restrictions. Then they put comments on that to their heart's content.
Finally they started spamming my picture gallery albums that were left open to general comments.
I've closed off all their holes, and cleaned up the databases to remove all remnants of their chaos. If you see anything spam-like please let me know!
Also, in the midst of it, the script I wrote to purge the picture comment spam wiped out part of the database. I think my back-up was a fine drop-in, but let me know if something isn't working right.
Lastly, I leave you with the top 10 apple commercials of all time;
