lance, ibook, and first fridays

The "Lance Armstrong Retrospective" aired on OLN this week, recapping Lance's career. Quite frankly, I thought it could have been longer. It was an interview with him, where he gave some insight in to things he never would have admitted while still riding. Which races he gave to others, when he has faking a hard ride, etc.. Very interesting stuff.

I'm still really liking my iBook. There is much to learn but it is functioning as my day to day computer now as expected. I'm still having some issues switching between the PC at work/desk upstairs and the Mac. I love to use keyboard shortcuts for things, and they differ between the two. I'm already getting confused. We'll see how this works out long-term.

So today is the first friday of August. In Phoenix we have kind of a mini-art event downtown on the first friday of every month called "First Friday's". I've never been and had Melissa, Carrie, and Rich lined up to go. Well, the time came, and everyone fell through. SLACKERS! Actually, only Carrie and Melissa bailed. I would have called up Rich and gone anyways, except for an article on the front page of the paper today about the event. I can't imagine how many people will be down there tonight. I'll just have to wait another month. I'm making everyone come next month. No excuses.

I had to post today because I realized the word "bitch" has been at the top of my webpage for too many days. And hey, that's just entirely uncalled for. You're welcome Michelle =).

I went to the Diamondbacks game on Wednesday with Lori and watched a horribly slow game. Then, right after we left it got blown open (by the Astros of course). Good thing we didn't stick around. All in all it was a good night, and I of course had fun with her as usual.
