not too bad
Drinks with Laurie (hrm, not sure how she spells her name?) went well. She definitely seems like fun, and we're going out again next week. She even tried sushi (although I couldn't get her to try the sea urchin =p), it is definitely refreshing to go out with someone who says "I'll try anything once".
Work was ok, although the meeting was especially boring. The next two days should be more effective as we aren't required to be in the meetings and everyone will still be in town.
To try and save the voice I was losing I did not go for my recovery ride today, so I will have to ride on my day off tomorrow. Although, I destroyed my voice by drinking a couple beers with Laurie and then having gin and tonics with the work folks after that. Talking over the music with the work people didn't help either. Oh well, as long as I can talk by this weekend I'll be all good.
